Outside Activities 2021

Date: 20th Dec 2021 Author: Scout Websites

All the Sections managed some activities away from our HQ last term.

The Beavers joined other colonies from across Richmond District at the District Beaver Adventure Day. The Cubs enjoyed a sleep-over including trampolining and then pizza at Flipout. A team from the Scout Troup also took part in the South-West London County Cooking competition. The end results look delicious and so well done to Dominique and the team for all their hard work! Later in the term, the Scouts went to White Spider for an energetic evening of indoor climbing.

The Burton Explorers, our most senior group, also ventured out for two contrasting events – a bowling evening and Operation Red Flare – a night hike in the Surrey Hills. Congratulations to the team for finishing the challenging event in freezing conditions.

As usual, many thanks to all the Leaders who have arranged and run these various events to get back to Scouting as normally as possible after all the disruption of the first half of the year.
