Autumn Term 2022

It’s been a packed first half of the Autumn Term for all the sections so far.

Some highlights have included the following :-

Our Beavers joined the rest of the District Beaver Colonies for some exciting activities at Walton Firs with four of our oldest Beavers staying overnight. The crate stacking and caving looks great fun as ever! Well done to all the Beavers who achieved their Adventure Challenge Badges. The Beavers found the pond dipping at the Holly Lodge Centre in Richmond Park lots of fun, they were able to pond dip in smaller ponds and a large pond & everyone found many creatures. They also visited our local church, St Mary the Virgin, Mortlake to learn more about the building and the services and other activities that take place there.

The Cubs had a super evening meeting the Medivet animals and making posters to explain the threats to endangered species. They progressed well to gaining their Animal Carer badges.

The Scouts enjoyed their cooking evening, particularly the pancakes! They also invested 5 new Scouts. Many congratulations to the new members of the Scout Troup!

As usual, you can find some photos of the events here.
