Beaver Sleepover including intergenerational session with MCA
We are planning an exciting sleepover in our Scout Hut, a great opportunity for Beavers to complete a Night Away before Cub and Scout camps, and an important part of their Scouting journey.
The sleepover will begin with a joint session with the Mortlake Community Association where the Beavers will play different board games with older members of the community. This intergenerational session will not only be great fun but also start all towards the Beavers Community Impact badge. We hope to have the opportunity to cook some toasted marshmallows too.
After this, Beavers will then take part in games and activities including gaining their experiment badge, with a chance to undertake lots of interesting Science Experiments.
Beavers will need to attend the full afternoon of activities plus the sleepover and unfortunately no late arrivals will be possible.
They will sleep within small tents inside the Scout Hut, with good heating facilities so all will be comfortably warm overnight. We also hope to complete a short torch walk and hopefully see some stars in the night sky. We will provide dinner and an evening snack before bedtime as well as breakfast the following morning.
